Muhammad Abbas is the current Assistant General Manager at EFU Life Assurance Ltd. Muhammad has over 9 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining EFU Life Assurance Ltd, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at TPL Trakker Ltd from March 2010 to May 2014. Muhammad's responsibilities included preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts, liaison with external auditors and bankers, treasury management, compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, timely filing of income tax and sales tax returns, and presenting the quarterly financial statements to the Board of Directors.

Before their role at TPL Trakker Ltd, Muhammad Abbas was an Assistant Manager - Business Risk Service at Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates (Private) Limited from June 2009 to February 2010. In this role, they were responsible for risk identification, assessment, analysis and evaluation, and recommending mitigation techniques. Muhammad also prepared the Risk Management Manual pertaining to financial statements, country, human resource etc.
