Derek Bui

Derek Bui has a diverse work experience. Derek started their career as a Mathematics Tutor at Highline College in 2013. After that, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks from June 2017 to January 2018. In 2018, Derek worked as a Researcher at Microsoft for six months. Derek then joined USAA as a Contract Software Engineer from September 2021 to June 2022. Currently, they are working at eGain Corporation, starting as a Graduate Technical Trainee from May 2023 to August 2023, and transitioning into their role as a Cloud Operations Engineer.

Derek Bui began their education in 2017 at Bellevue College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Computer Science. Derek studied at Bellevue College until 2018. Afterward, Derek attended the University of Washington Bothell from 2018 to 2020. During their time at the university, they focused on Computer Science and Software Engineering, ultimately achieving a degree in Computer Science.
