Asmita Mohanta

Asmita Mohanta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Starting in 2013, Asmita worked as a Summer Trainee at Rourkela steel plant and gained exposure to a Captive Thermal Power Plant. They also worked as an Industrial Trainee at Central Tool Room & Training Centre in the same year.

In 2014, Asmita interned as a Summer Intern at NTPC SAIL Power Company Pvt Ltd.

In 2015, Asmita joined Infosys as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they developed a luxury spa booking application and performed BI reporting and job monitoring tasks. They also worked as a Salesforce Consultant, translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and as a Salesforce Developer, automating document generation processes and redesigning role hierarchies.

In 2022, Asmita interned as a Product Manager Intern at RadicalX, collaborating with UI/UX developers and conducting competitor analyses to design a career assessment website.

In 2022, Asmita also started their journey at Egen as an Analytics Consultant Intern, implementing Revenue Intelligence and designing CRM Analytics dashboards. They later became an Analytics Consultant, where they estimated membership likelihood and improved customer retention.

In 2023, Asmita joined Tableau as a Tableau Student Ambassador, promoting Tableau and its capabilities. They also served as a Tableau CRM Analytics Ambassador.

In 2023, Asmita returned to Egen as a Principal Analytics Engineer, taking on a leadership role in analytics engineering.

Overall, Asmita has gained expertise in analytics, product management, Salesforce, and business intelligence across multiple industries and companies.

Asmita Mohanta completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology (Formerly UCE), Burla from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Analytics at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2021 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Asmita Mohanta has obtained several certifications. Asmita became a Tableau Ambassador in September 2023 and obtained the Salesforce Certified Associate certification from Salesforce in May 2023. Asmita also received the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in April 2023. In January 2023, they achieved the certifications of Einstein Prediction Builder Accredited Professional and Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant from Salesforce, as well as the Tableau CRM and Einstein Discovery Consultant certification.

Asmita Mohanta holds the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera, which they obtained in December 2022. In the same month, they also obtained the Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant certification. Asmita'sother certifications include Product Innovation for Product Managers and Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap from LinkedIn, obtained in September 2022. Asmita achieved the Technical Product Management certification from LinkedIn in August 2022.

Asmita Mohanta earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals certification in July 2022 and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification in June 2022. Asmita holds the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2021 Certified Associate certification from Oracle, obtained in February 2022. In December 2021, they obtained the Tableau Desktop Specialist certification.

Earlier in their career, Asmita Mohanta obtained the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification in May 2021 and the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification in February 2021. Asmita also completed the Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards Specialist Superbadge from Trailhead by Salesforce in February 2018 and the Google Cloud Certified in G Suite certification from Google in October 2020.
