Dr. Edwin Hernandez has a long and distinguished career in the tech industry. Dr. Edwin began their career in 1996 as the Owner-Entrepreneur of COMPUNET S. de R. L., one of the first ISPs in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In 2002, they worked as a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft. From 2003 to 2007, they were the President and CEO of Rapid Mobile Technologies, Inc. where they developed 4G Wireless Mobility Emulation Technology. From 2007 to 2010, they were the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of EGLA COMMUNICATIONS, where they were an NFT, meta verse, Intellectual Property Expert, Blockchain, Cloud, and Multimedia expert. In 2016, they were the Principal at MOBILITY WORKX, LLC, where they managed Wireless Technologies and portfolios. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Co-Host/Executive Producer of TECHEDTV and MEVIA STUDIOS, and the Owner-Co-founder of Guiltless To Go. Since 2017, they have been the Owner and Principal-Founder of EGLAVATOR, and since 2022, they have been the Investor Owner and Co-Founder of BRIDGE TO THE UNIVERSE LABS.
Dr. Edwin Hernandez began their education in 1986 when they obtained a Bachiller degree from Instituto Salesiano San Miguel in Sciences. Dr. Edwin then continued their studies at Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they obtained an Electronics Engineering degree in 1995. In 1997, they attended the University of Arizona, where they studied Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor, but did not receive a degree. Later that same year, they enrolled at the University of Florida, where they obtained an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1999. Dr. Edwin continued their studies at the University of Florida, obtaining a Ph.D in Computer Engineering in 2002. In 2015, Dr. Hernandez attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth to complete a Digital Entrepreneurship Program with Google, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
