Mads Lundsgaard Thomsen

Mads Lundsgaard Thomsen has extensive work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Mads Lundsgaard started their career as a Revisor at KPMG in 1987 and worked there until 1995. Mads Lundsgaard then joined Danwaste A/S as a Financial Controller, where they were responsible for establishing reporting routines and controlling foreign subsidiaries. In 1996, they became a Regnskabschef at Post Danmark, where they played a key role in establishing the company's accounting manual and training the organization. From 2001 to 2008, Mads worked at Nesa A/S/Dong Energy A/S, where they held the position of Koncern budget- og regnskabschef. In this role, they managed and developed various accounting and budgeting functions, implemented IFRS, and oversaw fusion and restructuring processes. Since 2008, they have been the Head of Corporate Accounting & Tax at Egmont, a media company.

Mads Lundsgaard Thomsen holds a Bachelor's Degree from Copenhagen Business School.
