Andras Lazar

Andras L. currently serves as a Senior Expert in Executive Search at Egon Zehnder, a position held since November 2022. Previously, Andras held the role of Chief Of Staff and National Visegrad Coordinator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary from December 2020 to August 2022, overseeing Hungary's 2021-22 Presidency of the Visegrad Group. Andras gained international exposure as a Transatlantic Diplomatic Fellow at the U.S. Department of State for a year from October 2019. Prior experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade included various leadership roles focusing on Visegrad Cooperation and Central European initiatives, starting in 2013. Educational qualifications include an MA in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Corvinus University of Budapest. Additionally, Andras contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Mathias Corvinus Collegium.
