Richard Green is the current Director of Security & Compliance at Egress. Prior to this, they were the Integration Endpoint Release Manager at Check Point Software Technologies from February 2007 to March 2012. In this role, they were hand-picked by the Global VP of Products to manage the global integration of the eight acquired endpoint security companies’ products into one – ‘Check Point Total Endpoint Security’ - the biggest project in Check Point’s history. This key release drove company profits up by over 30%, beyond $1billion for the first time in their history.
Green successfully managed every aspect of the staged-release, working closely with all 203 team members across all eight global development offices. Richard reported directly to & led release meetings with VPs, Executives, Directors & Group Management. Richard also liaised directly with all supporting departments such as Development, Quality Assurance, Early Availability, Training, Technical Support, Graphics, Technical Writers, Global Early Availability teams, Sales, Legal, Production, among others.
In addition to leading the business change initiative when deploying the resulting security product internally, Green also regularly worked U.K. & U.S. hours in the same day to meet deadlines. Extensive travel & working in global offices were also part of their role, most notably in Tel Aviv, Stockholm & San Francisco. Their final projects involved tying up the legal & certification aspects of the project (notably Common Criteria to EAL2).
