Daljit Ghotra

Daljit Ghotra is the current Chief Technical Officer at Eguana Technologies. Daljit has over eighteen years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on power system engineering and design.

Ghotra began their career in August 2000 at Nortel Networks as a power system engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing AC and DC power supplies, breaker panels, backplanes, surge protection, alarm monitoring, battery management, and system cabling for telecom base stations. Daljit also conducted vendor audits of test facilities, witnessed prototype testing, and evaluated the skills and abilities of the test teams. In November 2008, Ghotra was promoted to Senior Power System Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for troubleshooting technical issues at both the component level and the system level. Daljit also performed and mentored regulatory testing, including standards safety, functional, and EMC aspects covering CSA/UL, FCC, and Telecordia standards. Additionally, Ghotra liaised with internal team members to present and ensure compliance of power consumption budgets and performance of system design, and provided technical guidance to RF, digital, and systems teams.

In 2010, Ghotra left Nortel Networks to join Eguana Technologies as the Chief Technical Officer. In this role, they are responsible for creating technical specifications and working with OEMs to develop power systems components. Daljit also gathers requirements and prepares design verification test plans and reports.

Daljit Ghotra completed a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, a B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Marathwada Institute of Technology, and a Grade 12 in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General from the Chail Military School. Daljit Ghotra is certified from the Integrated Business Planning Course by Oliver Wight in the Integrated Business Planning Course.

They are on a team with Marcus Brunner - Chief Sales Officer , Sonja Kuehnle - CFO, and Martin Duerr - Director, Business Development. Their manager is Justin Holland, Chief Executive Officer.
