Ahmed Elmeligy

Ahmed ElMeligy possesses extensive experience in public health and healthcare management, currently serving as the Head of the Health and Care Department at the Egyptian Red Crescent since September 2021. Prior roles include Public Health Specialist and Research Assistant at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology Egypt, and Accreditation Specialist at الهيئة العامة للاعتماد والرقابة الصحية. Additional experience encompasses research and roles in military and emergency medicine. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, a Clinical Nutrition Diploma from the National Nutrition Institute in Cairo, a Professional Diploma in Healthcare Total Quality Management from The American University in Cairo, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Tanta University.
