Omar Farouk

Omar Farouk is an experienced Inspection Engineer currently employed at the Egyptian Refining Company (ERC) since November 2022, focusing on updating and initiating SAP work orders for inspection activities. Previously, Omar worked as a Plant Inspector at Amreya Petroleum Refining Company (APRC) from June 2021 to October 2022, where responsibilities included reviewing mechanical drawings and inspection histories for equipment and piping. Omar's earlier experience at DNV GL from February 2015 to June 2021 included roles as a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer, Piping Inspector, and NDT Technician, with duties ranging from monitoring construction activities to inspecting welding consumables and performing NDT methods. Omar holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Helwan, obtained between 2010 and 2014.
