Bruce Polson

Director, Automation Business Devlopment at Ehrhardt Automation Systems

Bruce Polson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bruce started their career at Westinghouse Electric Company, where they gained experience in new product development and implementation in regulated environments. Bruce completed a rigorous management training program during their time there.

Bruce then moved on to Seagate Technology, where they worked as a Senior Advisory Development Engineer. After that, they joined ADC as a Senior Development Engineer, specializing in MEMS development.

In 2001, Bruce became a Business Development Manager at Assembly & Test Worldwide, Inc., managing specialized accounts and selling custom automation equipment. Bruce achieved the top sales rank during their tenure.

From 2005 to 2007, Bruce worked as a Global Account Manager at ATS Automation Tooling Systems, where they managed a $9M territory, identifying new customers and growing annual revenue significantly.

Next, Bruce established their own company, Polson Technical Services, in 2007. As the owner, they developed new accounts and provided technical solutions for capital equipment and medical device applications.

For the past decade, Bruce has been with MagneMotion, Inc. (now a Rockwell Company), serving as a Business Development Manager. Bruce managed rep and distribution channels, strategic accounts, and internal resources to develop their Independent Cart Technology (ICT) business. Bruce grew the annual revenue from $0 to over $12M during their tenure.

Most recently, Bruce joined Ehrhardt Automation Systems in 2021 as the Director of Automation Business Development.

Bruce Polson attended MC High for an unknown period of time. Bruce then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Iowa State University from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they completed an Executive-MBA program with a focus on Business at the University of St. Thomas from 1998 to 1999.
