Raymond Chung is an accomplished civil engineer specializing in structural engineering, with extensive experience in major infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally. Currently serving as Principal - Structures at EIC Activities since April 2023, Raymond has held pivotal roles at various prominent firms including Stantec, McMillen Jacobs Associates, and WSP, where responsibilities included technical leadership and project management for significant projects like the Melbourne Airport Rail and North East Link Project. Raymond's expertise encompasses the design and review of complex structures, including bridges and tunnels, contributing to numerous high-profile projects throughout a career that began with foundational roles at URS Corporation and AECOM. Raymond holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Auckland.
EIC Activities
EIC Activities is CIMIC Group’s engineering business. It provides specialist design, technical support, research and technology for Group projects and enhances the Group’s ability to mitigate and manage risk. EIC Activities delivers solutions, capability and innovation in the disciplines of infrastructure, industrial, building and specialist design for projects tendered and delivered by the Group. EIC Activities supports its capability through other technical groups within the ACS Group, including HOCHTIEF, Dragados and Turner. The EIC name stands for Engineering, Innovation and Capability.
