Tanya OShea

Tanya O'Shea has a strong background in clinical operations and project management in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Tanya has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Clinical Project Manager at ICORG, where they managed oncology clinical trials for over 11 years. Tanya then moved on to work as a Medical Liaison Manager at Daiichi Sankyo Ireland, where they established and built relationships with key opinion leaders and facilitated the exchange of medical and clinical information. After that, they served as the Head of Clinical Operations at Aspen Pharma, overseeing clinical operations activities. Tanya then joined Prothena Corporation plc as the European Head of Clinical Operations and Senior Director, where they provided strategic oversight for clinical trial execution and successfully initiated studies across multiple sites and countries. Tanya also developed strong relationships with key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups. Tanya's next role was as a Clinical Operations Consultant at Nektar Therapeutics, where they served as a global start-up lead and provided consulting services for clinical operations. Tanya then became the CEO of Clinical Research Consulting Ltd, offering consulting services for clinical operations and management. Tanya's most recent role is as a Relationship Site Manager and Clinical Operations Consultant at Eidos Therapeutics. Additionally, Tanya has a Master's degree in Oncology and more than 18 years of experience in cancer clinical research.

Tanya O'Shea began their education at Sancta Maria College in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, from 1985 to 1991. It is not specified whether they obtained any degrees or field of study during this time. From 1991 to 1993, they attended the Institute of Technology in Carlow and pursued a degree in Applied Biology. Following that, they attended Technological University Dublin from 1995 to 1997 and earned a Diploma in Food Science & Technology, specializing in Food Science and Technology. In 2005, Tanya enrolled in The Open University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General in 2008. Lastly, from 2010 to 2012, they studied Oncology and Cancer Biology at the University of Nottingham, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree.
