Brian Pownall

Brian Pownall is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President and Senior Engineer at EIG since October 2021, focusing on North America Upstream, Midstream, Royalties, Global LNG, and Global CCS. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Reservoir Manager at Silverado Oil & Gas LLC from April 2019 to September 2021, specializing in the acquisition and exploitation of large-scale, liquid-rich resource developments. Brian's extensive experience at Newfield Exploration spanned eight years, where roles included Asset Lead for the STACK reservoir, Senior Corporate Development Engineer, Reservoir Engineer, and Production Engineer, successfully managing significant budgets, analyzing over 100 A&D opportunities, and overseeing substantial reserves. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2011.
