Vincent Chan

Vincent Chan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Vincent started their career as a Junior Developer at World First, where they worked on a backoffice system and the development of an online trading application. Vincent then joined Zodiac Media as a Software Developer, specializing in rapid website development using Drupal and Wordpress.

Following this, they worked at MediaBodies as the Head of Digital Projects, managing all aspects of digital projects for clients such as the BBC and Hachette UK. Vincent then became a Software Development Consultant at Vincent Chan Ltd, where they consulted on web development projects and specialized in off-the-shelf builds and front-end development.

Vincent later transitioned to Digital Fineprint (DFP), initially as a Software Engineer and then as an Engineering Manager. At DFP, they led a team of engineers and supported the Data Science team and customer-facing functions. Vincent successfully developed a technology stack capable of processing insurance-risk data.

Vincent also had a role as a Software Engineer - Data and Analytics Consultant at CAR.O.L, where they provided technical leadership and hands-on experience in CAR.O.L's business technology infrastructure.

Most recently, Vincent joined Eigen Technologies as a Senior Engineering Manager. Eigen Technologies is a scale-up using machine learning to streamline qualitative data usage in the financial and insurance sectors.

From 2008 to 2011, Vincent Chan attended the University of Oxford, where they pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Archaeology and Anthropology.
