Malinga Fernando

Malinga Fernando has held a variety of positions in the finance industry since 1998. Malinga began their career at Merrill Lynch in 1998, followed by a role at Credit Suisse in Equities Research in 1999. In the same year, they joined Nomura's Principal Finance Group as a Private Equity specialist, and was a founding member of Terra Firma Capital Partners in 2002. In 2005, they moved to Barclays Investment Bank as a Director of Private Equity. In 2007, they co-founded AMS Capital, where they served as Managing Director and provided advisory and principal services in real-estate and private equity in Asia. In 2019, they co-founded One Industrial, where they served as Managing Director and was responsible for capital raising and structuring for the largest first-time industrial real-estate fund serving India. In 2020, they joined EIGHT25MEDIA as Chief Operations Officer and Strategic Financial Advisory.

Malinga Fernando completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 1999. Prior to that, they attended the International School of Geneva from 1995.
