Brynmor Davis

Principal Engineer, Software at Eikon Therapeutics

Brynmor Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Brynmor'smost recent position is as a Staff Software Engineer at Eikon Therapeutics since March 2022.

Prior to that, Brynmor worked at Creare, where they held various roles from October 2009 to March 2022. Brynmor served as a Senior Engineer from May 2019 to March 2022, leading optical engineering and algorithm development in the laser-metrology business area. Before that, they worked as an Engineer from October 2009 to May 2019, specializing in device modeling for systems such as magnetometers, vacuum pumps, solar concentrators, high-power lasers, and cameras. Additionally, they were responsible for optics, imaging, computer vision, and image processing.

From May 2006 to September 2009, Brynmor worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During this time, they focused on investigating modeling and inverse problems in optics and spectroscopy, specifically in spectral self-interference, near-field, Fourier-transform-infrared-microspectroscopy, and optical-coherence-tomography systems. Brynmor also contributed as a Guest Lecturer in various graduate courses.

Before that, Brynmor held a Research Assistant position at Boston University from September 2002 to May 2006. Additionally, they were a Visiting Researcher at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in February 2005. Furthermore, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona from August 1999 to August 2001. Lastly, they served as a Visiting Student Researcher at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from June 2000 to August 2000, where they specialized in modeling and simulating signals in correlation radiometer systems and developed new calibration techniques.

Brynmor Davis completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Canterbury. This was achieved between 1996 and 1998. Following this, Davis pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Optical Science from the University of Arizona from 1999 to 2001. Davis then proceeded to earn a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boston University, completing their studies between 2001 and 2006.
