Kameron Balzer

Kameron Balzer has extensive experience in facilities operations and environmental health and safety. Kameron is currently serving as the Executive Director of Facilities Operations at Eikon Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Director of Facilities at Tenaya Therapeutics from November 2019 to May 2022. Kameron also worked at Amgen as the Director of Global Facilities Operations from June 2004 to November 2019. Before their time at Amgen, they were the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Tularik from 1999 to 2004. Kameron's career began at Genentech, where they worked as a Manager of Environmental Health & Safety from 1990 to 1999. Kameron started their professional journey as an Industrial Hygienist at the University of California, San Francisco from 1985 to 1990.

Kameron Balzer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) in 1990, and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 1997.
