Ruth Godbey

Ruth Godbey's work experience begins in 2014 as a Biomedical Technician Intern at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they performed maintenance checks and repaired medical devices. In 2015, they were a Pratt Engineering Undergraduate Research Fellow at Duke University, where they conducted research on cardiac ablations and developed MATLAB programs. From 2016 to 2021, Ruth worked at Stryker, starting as an Electrical & Software Test Engineer and later progressing to Senior Software Design Engineer. Ruth contributed to the development of the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery system and worked on the HipCheck computer vision product for hip arthroscopy. In 2022, they joined Eikon Therapeutics as a Senior Software Engineer.

Ruth Godbey attended Lakehill Preparatory School from 1999 to 2012. Ruth then pursued their undergraduate studies at Duke University from 2012 to 2016, majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering.
