Frederick 'Al' Schroeder

Co-Founder and Director of R&D at Eikonizo Therapeutics

Frederick 'Al' Schroeder has a long history of work experience in the field of neuroscience. In 2003, they began as a Graduate Student in the Akbarian Lab at BNRI UMass GSBS. Frederick 'Al' then moved on to become a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Petryshen Lab at CHGR MGH in 2008. In 2012, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratories of Stephen J. Haggarty and Jacob M. Hooker at MGH CHGR and Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Frederick 'Al' then became a Research Scientist at J.M. Hooker Lab, Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in 2014. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Co-Founder and Director of R&D at Eikonizo Therapeutics.

Frederick 'Al' Schroeder received their B.S. in Biochemistry from Alma College between 1998 and 2002. Frederick 'Al' then went on to earn their PhD in Biomedical Science and Neuroscience from UMass Chan Medical School between 2002 and 2008.
