Markus Thannhuber

After studying physics at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich where he specialized in quantum optics, Dr. Markus Thannhuber worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institut IAO in Stuttgart and then at the Institute for Human Factors and Technology Management (IAT) at the University of Stuttgart.

He later worked as a researcher in the Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management Department (IEEM) at Hongkong University of Science and Technology.

He received his doctorate in 2003 under Prof. Bullinger, past President of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, for his work on system and organization theory. “The Intelligent Enterprise” (ISBN 3-7908-1555-1) was published in 2004.
