Suzanne Collins has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Suzanne began their career at Women for Europe as a Volunteer PR on the Management Committee and later worked as a Press Officer for Fianna Fail. Suzanne then served as the Director of Communications for Seán Gallagher for President campaign. Collins also worked as a Freelance Communications professional, specializing in campaigning, media management, and public affairs. Suzanne held several roles in the field of communications and media relations, including Head of Communications (Interim) at the Consumer Council for Northern Ireland, Director of Communications for the Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP), and Director of Operations and Campaigns at Women for Election. Collins then joined Ervia, where they held multiple positions, such as Media Relations Manager, Acting Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Stakeholder and Media Relations, and eventually Group Head of Media Relations. Suzanne most recently held the position of Head of PR at Eirgrid.

Suzanne Collins attended Holy Faith Secondary School, Clontarf for their secondary education. Suzanne then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Ulster University, which they completed in 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Communications from Dublin City University, completing it in 2001.
