Vlad Garbuz has extensive work experience in the cybersecurity field. Vlad started at Forestro LLC in 2009 as a Software Engineer, then moved on to HP in 2013 as a Senior Application Security Engineer. In 2015, they joined SoftSeq as CEO, where they focused on strategy, risk management, software security, and auditing. In the same year, they also became a Software Security and Risk Manager at EIS Group Ltd. In 2019, they joined SEC Consult Group as a Principal Security Consultant, where they headed corporate expansion into Manila and advised on application security in Singapore's financial services industry. In 2021, they became the Chief Information Security Officer at BetterMe: Health & Fitness. Additionally, Vlad has been involved with the OWASP Foundation since 2011 as the OWASP Odessa Chapter Leader. Prior to their career in cybersecurity, they worked as the Deputy Director at CRYO INTER TRADING LLC from 2011 to 2013.

Vlad Garbuz's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled in Donetsk National Technical University. Vlad pursued a degree in Software Engineering and studied Computer Science and Applied Mathematics until 2015.
