Edgar Hernandez

Edgar Hernandez has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in operations and supply chain management. Edgar most recently served as the Director of Operations - LATAM at EIS. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at CTS Corporation, where they oversaw manufacturing sites and a warehouse distribution center. At Schneider Electric, Edgar held the position of Manufacturing Operations Manager, responsible for manufacturing operations and staffing. Edgar also worked at Electrolux North America, where they held multiple roles including Global Supply Chain Manager and Director of Global Operational Excellence, overseeing supply chain activities and deploying lean manufacturing culture. Edgar has also worked at Nestle USA as an Industrial Engineer and Continuous Improvement Coordinator, focusing on cost reductions and production improvements. Overall, Edgar has showcased expertise in improving operational KPIs, implementing strategic projects, and leading cross-functional teams.

Edgar Hernandez holds a Master's of Science degree in Engineering Management from Kansas State University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Edgar also has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering from New Mexico State University, earned from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, Edgar completed their Associates degree in Industrial Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor from TÜV SÜD in 2022, a Master Black Belt from True Lean-a Toyota/University of Kentucky Partnership Since 1994 in 2017, and various certifications related to Electrolux Manufacturing System and Lean Six Sigma. Edgar has also earned a Black Belt certification from Nestlé.
