Carlos Duffey

Carlos Duffey serves as the Director of Operations for LATAM at Soltec since February 2020, overseeing all operations in the region including construction, assembly, operation and maintenance, post-sale warranty, and support for sales through Pull Out Test studies. Notable projects include the EPC for the solar power plants Araxá and Pedranópolis in Brazil, and the Guayepo project in Colombia. Prior to his role at Soltec, Carlos held positions including EPC Director at Tozzi Sud spa and Project Manager and Site Manager at various companies including PRODIEL and Grupo Cobra, with extensive experience in executing large-scale solar photovoltaic projects. Carlos began a career in project management at Abengoa, where responsibilities included optimizing project execution within established timelines and budgets. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Faculdade de Arquitetura Uruguai and a Technical degree in Architecture and Engineering from UTU - IEC Uruguai.
