Kareem Payne

Kareem Payne has a diverse range of work experience. Kareem most recently worked at EIS as the Director of Talent Development starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Talent Development Manager at EIS from 2022 to 2022. Kareem has also worked as a Talent Development & Project Management Consultant at KBU Consulting since 2018. In 2021, they were the Manager of Talent Development at Sagicor Life Inc, and before that, they held the role of Talent Development Leader at Sagicor General Insurance Inc. from 2019 to 2021. Kareem started their career as a Project Manager at the Ministry of Agriculture from 2015 to 2018, where they were responsible for coordinating project activities, monitoring performance, and developing schedules. Kareem also has experience as a Guest Services Coordinator at Loews Hotels from 2014 to 2015.

Kareem Payne completed a Bachelor's Degree in Management/Psychology from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus from 2006 to 2010. Kareem then pursued a Master's Degree in Project Management and Evaluation from the same institution, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. In terms of certifications, Kareem obtained the Associate Professional in Talent Development from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in January 2021. Other certifications include "Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)" from LinkedIn in 2019, as well as various LinkedIn certifications such as "Communicating with Empathy", "5 Ways to Control Your Time", "Creating a Culture of Learning", "Developing a Learning Mindset", and "Persuasive Coaching", all obtained in 2019. Additionally, Kareem is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
