Richard Averill

Richard Averill is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative strategy and software development within the banking and capital markets sectors. Currently serving as a Strat at Eisler Capital since February 2021, Richard developed a passthrough fund model for the Eisler Capital Multi Strategy Fund launch and a sophisticated graph object model in Python. As the Founder of Literally Thinking Ltd, Richard created a cloud-based calculating media platform with advanced graph modeling capabilities. Previous roles include Director at Deutsche Bank, where Richard led a successful regulatory program and improved product governance, and extensive positions at Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and other leading institutions, focusing on risk management and high-performance trading systems, all while utilizing expertise in Python and C++. Richard holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Manchester and has built a strong foundation in quantitative finance throughout a dynamic career.
