Dr. Frank Straile

Dr. Frank Straile has extensive work experience in the legal field, primarily in the automotive industry. Dr. Frank currently holds the position of VP Corporate Legal & Chief Compliance Officer at Eissmann Group Automotive, a role they have been in since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Global Director Legal at Eissmann Group Automotive from May 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Eissmann, they worked as the Assistant General Counsel at DEKRA from August 2018 to April 2021. From July 2014 to July 2018, they held the position of Vice President Legal Services / General Counsel (Group Legal and Insurance) at BOA Group. Before that, they were the Head of Legal (Group Legal and Insurance) at Dunkermotoren from September 2010 to June 2014. Dr. Frank also served as the General Counsel and Compliance Officer (Executive Committee) at Thales Deutschland from January 2007 to August 2010. Dr. Straile gained valuable experience as the Senior Legal Counsel (Legal and Contracts Division) at Alcatel-Lucent Deutschland (now Nokia) from January 2001 to December 2006. Dr. Frank began their career as a Legal Counsel at Kolbenschmidt Pierburg (now Rheinmetall Automotive) from January 1998 to December 2000, where they were involved in various legal matters related to the automotive industry.

Dr. Frank Straile obtained a Doctor of Law (Dr. jur.) degree from the University of Bayreuth in 1998. Prior to that, they completed a legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Landgericht Stuttgart (District Court) from 1994 to 1996. Dr. Frank also holds a degree in Legal Sciences and Economics from the University of Bayreuth, which they obtained in 1994.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Straile is a certified Syndic Attorney at Law (Rechtsanwalt - Syndikusrechtsanwalt) from the Rechtsanwaltskammer Stuttgart, which they obtained in June 2016. Dr. Frank also obtained a certification in "Quality by Training" (Qualität durch Fortbildung) from the Rechtsanwaltskammer Stuttgart in March 2010. Additionally, they are a certified Mediator from the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie, obtained in December 2009. Dr. Straile became an Attorney at Law (Rechtsanwalt) from the Rechtsanwaltskammer Stuttgart in October 1997. Lastly, they obtained additional training in economics with a degree "Wirtschaftsjurist (Univ. Bayreuth)" from the Universität Bayreuth in November 1994.
