Desi Vanrintel

Desi Vanrintel serves as the Head of Education Services and Programme Manager Education at EIT Food, overseeing various education programs including MSc courses, infrastructures, financial sustainability, and marketing since April 2018. Prior experience includes serving as CFO at Campus EnergyVille from March 2016 to March 2018 and project finance management for ELECTA/EnergyVille at KU Leuven from August 2010 to March 2018, dealing with EIT, Horizon 2020, and Structural Funds. Desi also held the position of CC Benelux - CFO at EIT InnoEnergy from 2011 to December 2015, managing co-location partners and financial operations. Earlier roles include Staff Member at KU Leuven Research and Development from August 2010 to September 2011 and Marketing & Sales Manager at Eyetronics from October 1998 to August 2010, leading global marketing and EMEA sales efforts. Desi began a career in sales at CHS from November 1997 to October 1998 and holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven, complemented by studies at the University of Strathclyde in 1996.
