Menno Kok

Menno Kok is an experienced professional in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the CLC Director at EIT Health Belgium & The Netherlands since January 2015. Kok's extensive background includes a PhD from Erasmus MC, where responsibilities included hiring decisions, research policy, grant applications, IP management, and strategic alliances from March 2002 to March 2018. As Executive Director of Medical Delta from October 2012 to March 2016, Kok focused on advancing medical technology solutions. Earlier academic roles include Assistant Professor at the University of Geneva, where research encompassed genetics, bacterial pathogenicity, and vaccine development, and a consulting position at Lonza AG. Kok's educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
