Johan Stahre

Johan Stahre is a Professor and Vice Head of Department at Chalmers University of Technology, where responsibilities include Utilisation and Innovation coordination within the Division of Production Systems, which comprises around 30 professionals. Johan Stahre has held multiple academic positions, including Associate Professor in various departments and has served as a doctoral student. In addition to academic roles, Johan Stahre plays a significant part in EIT Manufacturing as the Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board and holds various advisory positions, including Chair of the Advisory Board for the European Deep Tech Talent Initiative and EIT Manufacturing Co-Location Centre North. With extensive experience in research, education, management, and strategic initiatives, Johan Stahre contributes to significant European partnerships focused on innovative manufacturing and talent development while also serving in leadership roles within several organizations, including Produktion2030 and EFFRA. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Manufacturing Automation and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and Linköping University, respectively.
