Joseph Edward Gallo is the current CEO of E. & J. Gallo Winery. Joseph has held various positions at the company since 2003, starting as a Production Scheduler in the Supply Chain department. In 2004 they were promoted to Systems Analyst, and in 2007 to Senior Analyst in the Operations Strategy department. Joseph became Team Lead in 2011 and Manager of Operations Strategy in 2012. In 2015 they were promoted to their current position as CEO.
Joseph Edward Gallo received their undergraduate degree from Humboldt State University and their graduate degree from University of California, Davis.

Ernest and Julio Gallo started E&J Gallo Winery in 1933. Julio, who died in 1993, was in charge of making the wine, and Ernest, who died in 2007, was responsible for selling the wine. Gallo wines include Turning Leaf, Twin Valley, Single Vineyard, Red Bicyclette and Ecco Domani. Joseph Gallo, Ernest's son, is chief executive, while a number of other family members work for the company.
