Haitham El-Hussieny

Haitham El-Hussieny is an accomplished academic and researcher with a specialization in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology since October 2022, El-Hussieny has previously held positions as an Honorary Lecturer at both the University of Liverpool Online Programmes and Brunel University London. Additionally, El-Hussieny has contributed to the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra as an Associate Professor in Robotics Engineering and as a Senior Research Fellow focused on Soft Robotics at the University of Salford. Notable research experience includes a postdoctoral role at Korea University of Technology and Education, collaborating on projects involving soft robots. El-Hussieny earned a Ph.D. in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology and holds a Master of Science in the same field.
