Jared Rogers

Jared Rogers has a diverse work history, starting with their most recent role as Sr. Safety Director at E&K Companies, Inc. which they began in July 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Advisor at Airtite Contractors from June 2010 to June 2011. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a Construction Engineer at DuSable, Inc.

Before moving into construction, Jared spent several years in real estate development. Jared was a Project Manager at Illinois Facilities Fund from 2004 to 2007, where they worked on various commercial and institutional projects up to $10,000,000. In this role, they managed all aspects of project development, from the Request For Proposal process to budgeting, scheduling, and client representation. Prior to that, they were the Director of Building Development at Latin United Community Housing Association from 2000 to 2004.

Jared's early experience includes a summer internship at OpenLands Project in 1999, where they gained exposure to environmental conservation work. Overall, Jared's work experience spans multiple industries and demonstrates their expertise in safety, quality assurance, construction engineering, and real estate development.

Jared Rogers completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Certificate in Urban Developers Program at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2002 to 2003. In 1996, Jared obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from North Central College, which they pursued from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jared has obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In 2014, they completed the Scaffold Erection trainer certification from the Scaffold Training Institute. More recently, in October 2022, Jared obtained a Lean Certificate of Completion from the Associated General Contractors of America.
