Anita Weir

Anita Weir has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Anita started their career at Nationwide Insurance in 1994 as the Western Regional Manager for Case Management. Anita then moved on to Albertson's/Safeway in 2002, where they worked as the Director of Medical & Disability Management in Corporate Risk. At Albertson's/Safeway, Anita was responsible for operationalizing managed care concepts nationally, including programs such as PBN, MPN, PPPN, and TCM UR. Anita retired from Albertson's/Safeway in January 2016 after a fulfilling experience.

After their retirement from Albertson's/Safeway, Anita joined EK Health Services, Inc. in 2016 as a Medical Management Practice Leader on a part-time basis. Currently, Anita is enjoying their well-deserved retirement since June 2019. Anita owns their own consulting business called Weir & Associates Consulting.

Anita Weir received a Master of Science degree in Public Health Nursing from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1969 to 1971.
