Hanno Willers

Hanno Willers is an experienced communications and engagement professional with a strong background in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Engagement at Eke Panuku Development Auckland since November 2020, Hanno has also held positions such as Communications and Engagement Lead at Auckland Transport and Senior Communications and Engagement Consultant at GHD. Prior roles include acting as Customer, Communications & Engagement Lead at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and multiple senior advisory positions at Auckland Transport and 5DT (Fifth Dimension Technologies). Hanno’s earlier career featured roles in media research and analysis at Media Tenor South Africa. Hanno holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Integrated Organisational Communication from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Communication Management from the University of Pretoria.
