Rosa Vollmer

Rosa Vollmer is a seasoned Campaign Manager at Ekō since May 2022, previously serving as a Senior Campaigner focused on palm oil. With extensive freelance experience as a journalist and interpreter since 2006, Rosa has translated various content from Japanese to German and English, coordinated film shoots for prominent Japanese TV outlets, and contributed to major German media. From January 2020 to May 2022, Rosa was a Digital Campaign Strategist at Rainforest Action Network and held the position of Global Campaigner at Avaaz from November 2013 to January 2020, specializing in campaigns related to Japan, Germany, biodiversity, and fundraising. Prior roles include Freelance Journalist and Researcher at Asahi Shimbun and Editor at ZDF. Rosa holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology and Conservation from The University of Göttingen.
