El Buen Samaritano
Sussie Ramirez is a project specialist at the Latin Music Coalition Austin since September 2020, where Sussie serves as a latin music adviser, talent seeker, and marketing supervisor. Concurrently, Sussie works as a bilingual customer service representative for El Buen Samaritano, assisting individuals with applications for the RISE 2.0 grant. As a co-founder and label manager at Estudio 1070, Sussie is responsible for talent scouting, artist management, and event production. Additional roles include general manager at PELIGROSA, where Sussie managed tours and brand partnerships, and producer for HELLOW FESTIVAL™, overseeing brand activations and budgets. Sussie's background includes experience as a brand representative at Mezcal Union and account executive at Grupo Kampai. Sussie holds a degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey and completed an advanced English course at Cambridge College.
El Buen Samaritano
El Buen Samaritano is an outreach ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas committed to helping Latino and other families in Central Texas lead healthy, productive and secure lives through high-quality and affordable health-care, education and food assistance services. We provide a gathering place where people of all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds learn and serve together in a community of mutual trust and respect. The community is vibrant and filled with a rich cultural tradition. We encourage the growth and empowerment of those we serve, so they may fully participate in their own development and increase their capacity to be leaders and contributors to their families and the community. The people engaged with El Buen Samaritano—participants, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders—work and learn in a mutually respectful and inclusive environment. They are characterized by hope, compassion, resilience, and integrity.
