Daniel Shin

Daniel Shin, MD, serves as Medical Director of Employee Health and Wellness and Quality and Patient Safety at El Camino Health since September 2004, where additional roles include Consultant for Physician-Based Informatics Services, Director of the Antibiotic Stewardship Program, and active participation in various executive committees. Concurrently, Daniel is a Physician in Infectious Diseases at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. From March 2006 to March 2019, Daniel held the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF, contributing as an attending physician at San Francisco General Hospital. Daniel holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Honors Biology and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
