Melissa Garcia

Melissa Garcia, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience in the HR field. Melissa is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at El Paso Behavioral Health System since November 2021. Prior to this, Melissa worked as an HR Business Partner at HCA Healthcare from July 2019 to November 2021. From September 2017 to July 2019, they held the position of Senior HR Business Advisor at ADP. Melissa'searlier experience includes working as an H.R. Director at The Children’s Garden Development Center from March 2014 to December 2015.

Melissa Garcia, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from The University of Texas at El Paso, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Melissa also holds various certifications in the field of HR, including the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) from the American Payroll Association, which they obtained in April 2019. In August 2018, they obtained the PHRca certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Furthermore, Melissa achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2018.
