Daniel Monteros

Daniel Monteros, PE, has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Manager of Land Management at El Paso Electric Company since June 2017. Previously, Daniel held the position of Supervisor of Facilities Project Management at El Paso Electric Co. from November 2011 to June 2017, and worked as a Senior Engineer at Fort Bliss Water Services Co. from November 2005 to October 2011. Daniel began a career in project management at El Paso Water Utilities from March 2003 to October 2005, focusing on the preparation of plans for new development and the extension of water, reclaimed water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso between 1996 and 1999, and also studied at the University of California, Berkeley from 1989 to 1991.
