Denise Perez

Denise Perez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Denise started their career at Eaton, where they worked as an Accountant in the Accounting Management Development Program from January 1997 to April 1999. Denise then joined Petro Stopping Centers as an Accountant II from April 1999 to September 2001. Denise went on to work at Cardinal Health, where they held various roles such as General Accounting Supervisor, Cost Accounting Supervisor, and Plant Accounting Manager from October 2001 to June 2005. Denise then joined Helen of Troy as the International Accounting Manager for Asia and Europe Operations in June 2005, before becoming the General Accounting Manager from October 2005 to August 2007. Currently, Denise is employed at El Paso Electric Company, where they have worked as a Senior Financial Accountant from September 2007 to September 2011, then as a Senior Regulatory Accountant from 2011 to February 2018, and currently as the Principal Regulatory & Compliance Accountant.

Denise Perez earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 1993. Denise then pursued a Master in Business Administration from the same university, completing it in 1996. In 2020, Denise completed the IPU Accounting and Ratemaking Course at Michigan State University.
