Nohemi MacIel

Nohemi Maciel, LCSW, is a dedicated behavioral health professional with extensive experience in clinical social work and therapy. Currently employed at El Rio Community Health Center as a Behavioral Health Consultant, Nohemi provides health behavior assessments and interventions for chronic medical conditions. Previous roles include serving as a Psychotherapist at Thriveworks, where individual and family therapy was provided to diverse populations, and as a Behavioral Health Child and Family Therapist at Casa de los Niños, focusing on early childhood mental health interventions. Additional experience includes consulting on the Empire Waist Confidence Curriculum and various internships in educational and family-based settings. Nohemi holds a Master of Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies from Wellesley College.
