Matthew Carpenter

Matthew Carpenter is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the banking industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Market Director at US Bank/Elan Financial Services since July 2006, Matthew focuses on leading team efforts to establish partnerships in the agent credit card business, ensuring Elan's competitive edge amidst evolving market conditions. Prior to this role, Matthew was Vice President of Finance at US Bank from August 2000 to June 2006, where financial leadership was provided for two business lines with significant assets and revenues. Early career experience includes a position as a Municipal Credit Analyst at Carolina Municipal Council, responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of over 150 municipalities. Matthew holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a BS in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
