Paul Flory has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paul started their career as an Information Systems Intern at Emerson Electric in 2000. Paul then worked as a Design Engineer at Avtron Aerospace, Inc. from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they joined Chromalox as a Sr. Electrical Engineer from 2004 to 2007. Paul then moved on to Schneider Electric where they held multiple roles, including Staff Electrical/Electronics Engineer from 2007 to 2012. During their time at Schneider Electric, they served as a Lead firmware developer and a Product Engineer for various product lines. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Electrolux as a Software Design Engineer, focusing on firmware development for their cooking product line. Paul was the lead software engineer for the capacitive touch HMI modules and the ES610/ES615 oven control modules. In 2018, they joined Elan Industries Inc as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are currently working.

Paul Flory has an extensive education history in computer science and engineering. Paul first attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1995, where they studied mechanical engineering. After that, they enrolled at Western Kentucky University from 1995 to 2000 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Moving forward, they went on to Middle Tennessee State University from 2008 to 2012, focusing on computer science. Later, they pursued a Master of Software Engineering degree at Kansas State University from 2013 to 2014, specializing in computer software engineering. Finally, they completed their academic journey at Colorado State University from 2015 to 2018, obtaining a Master of Computer Science degree in the field of computer science.
