Alex Osanya

Alex Osanya is a highly experienced professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Global Development Lead at Elanco since August 2017. Prior roles include Principal Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist/Development Project Leader at Elanco, and Senior Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim from August 2010 to July 2017. Previous positions also include Visiting Scientist at the USDA/ARS Plum Island Animal Disease Center, Scientist at Iowa State University, and Research Scientist at the University of Nevada, Reno. Alex has a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brunel University of London and a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Parasitology from the University of Nairobi, complemented by a DVM from the same institution. Additional postdoctoral experience includes work at Yale University School of Medicine and the Centre for Tropical Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
