Robert C Neugebauer

Robert C Neugebauer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharma and veterinary sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global Biopharma Technical Development at Elanco since February 2014, Robert leads a global team of approximately 50 scientists in the CMC development of monoclonal antibodies and therapeutic proteins. Previous roles at Elanco include Senior Director of Product Development and Director of Farm Animal Task Force, with responsibilities spanning project leadership, team management, and regulatory interactions. Robert has also contributed to organizations such as the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare, Novartis Animal Health, and Losan Pharma GmbH, bringing expertise in analytical methods, CMC strategies, and pharmaceutical development. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Freiburg, complemented by pharmacy studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the University of Münster.
