Karan Taurani

Karan Taurani has a wealth of experience in research analysis and the financial industry. Karan began their career at Pioneer Investcorp in 2008, where they worked as a Research Analyst in Institutional Equity Research until 2011. Karan then joined IFCI Financial Services as a Research Analyst in Institutional Equity Research from 2011 to 2014. Following this, Karan worked at Religare as an Associate from 2014 to 2015. Karan then transitioned to Dolat Capital Market Private Ltd., where they held the roles of Senior Analyst in IT Services & Media sector from 2015 to 2017 and VP of Research from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Karan is employed at Elara Capital, where they have held the positions of Vice President - Research Analyst specializing in Media, Consumer Discretionary, and Internet sectors from 2018 to 2021. Karan now serves as a Senior Vice President - Research Analyst in the same sectors starting from April 2021.

Karan Taurani completed their education in a chronological order. From 2005 to 2008, they attended HR College and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management/Finance (BMS). Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they continued their studies at HR College and earned a Master's degree in Management (M Com). Lastly, from 2011 to 2014, Karan Taurani pursued a Masters in Financial Management (MFM) at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) with a focus on Finance.
