Sebastián Márquez Barraso

Sebastián Márquez Barraso has a diverse range of work experience. Sebastián worked as a Data Scientist at Elastacloud Limited starting in August 2018. Prior to this, they were a Technical Consultant at Inventia Agrarica from December 2013 to December 2017. Before that, they were the Responsable del área de turismo at i2 Capital Group from October 2012 to September 2013. Sebastián also has experience as a Socio fundador, Técnico de Medio Ambiente y SIG at ECOGISTEMA from September 2011 to September 2012. Sebastián started their career as an Investigador contratado at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) in May 2005 and worked there until December 2010. Additionally, Sebastián worked as a Botánico y Técnico de SIG at BIOSFERA XXI Estudios ambientales S.L from May 2006 to August 2008. Sebastián'sresponsibilities included conducting field surveys, studying vegetation and flora, generating thematic cartography, and performing geostatistical analysis.

Sebastián Márquez Barraso began their education at Universidad de Almería, where they obtained a Licenciado degree in Ciencias Ambientales. Sebastián studied at this institution from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, they also obtained a Certificado de Aptitud Pedagógica (CAP) from Universidad de Huelva.

Later, in 2009, Sebastián returned to Universidad de Almería to pursue a Diploma de Estudios Avanzados (D.E.A) in the Programa de Doctorado: Ecología de Zonas Áridas, which they completed in 2010.

Additionally, Sebastián Márquez Barraso has obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate from Microsoft in June 2020.
