Rachel Kaviani

Rachel Kaviani's work experience includes serving as the Director of IT and Security at Elastic Path, where they manage infrastructure, security, and governance initiatives for the enterprise. Rachel has also worked as the Manager of IT Services at Southbank International School, overseeing service delivery and network infrastructure for multiple campuses. Additionally, Rachel has experience as an Infrastructure Analyst at Avigilon, a Network Administrator at Galvanize (now Diligent), a Systems Administrator at FINCAD, a User Support Analyst at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, and an IT Support Technician at Bell Media.

Rachel Kaviani completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University, from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, studying from 2012 to 2017. Rachel also holds a Diploma in Broadcast Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015, the Information Storage Associate Version 2 (EMCISA) from EMC in 2014, the Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco in 2010, and the Microsoft Systems Certified Engineer from Microsoft in 2009.
